Hi, I’m Nina!

and my stress levels used to control my entire life.

A few years back, I was working as a middle school choir director (traveling between 2 buildings and teaching over 500 kids - oy!), studying for my masters degree, and I was filling EVERY single minute of my day with to-do lists and tasks.

I was living my life in a state of chronic stress and I was ignoring all of the little warning signs that my body needed me to slow down.

Eventually, my body just couldn’t keep up.

All of those years of chronic stress had finally turned into uncontrollable anxiety.

Everything just felt HARD.

Situations I used to never think twice about had me on high alert and in extreme worry-mode.

Not only was my anxiety affecting my mental-state, but it had begun to affect my entire body, too.

My hormone levels were all out of whack -- causing unbearable exhaustion, irregular and painful periods, acne, and a rollercoaster of mood fluctuations.

I felt absolutely miserable, and I knew it was time to go see my doctors for help.

Unfortunately, I didn’t get the answers I was looking.

I left my appointments with no answers to my symptoms besides a prescription for anxiety medication and a recommendation for birth control to boot.

I remember sitting there in the doctor’s office with this sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach — this just doesn’t feel right. This can’t possibly be the answer to my healing.

there had to be a better way

I knew there had to be a better way, and that’s when I turned towards holistic health and took matters in to my own hands.

Right then and there, I made the choice to learn how to listen to my body, how to get to the root of my anxiety, and I was committed to learning what foods would help my body thrive again.

For the first time in my life, I was learning how to slow-down and prioritize ME again.

it was the best decision I ever made.

Now, I am a full time women’s hormones & anxiety coach, I host a wellness podcast, and I’m ready to help YOU reconnect with your body’s intuitive wisdom too.


Education & Certifications  

  • I am a certified holistic health coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.

  • I have completed IIN’s 6-month Advanced Gut Health Course.

  • I am in the process of completing the Advanced Hormonal Course.

  • I am Reiki I certified (level II coming SOON!) from The Reiki Center

  • I also have a bachelors of music education and a masters degree in special education from Otterbein University.

Fun Facts

  • I am also a proud wife, dog mama, and vocalist

  • I quit my full time job as a middle school choir director in May 2018 for the coaching life.

  • I still teach private voice lessons because music is such a huge part of my soul.

  • My husband owns a media company and I work along side him as his executive assistant. We love to travel all over the country and work on-the- go :)

  • I used to have really bad travel anxiety and I am proud to say I’ve been conquering that one step at a time.

  • I host a health and wellness podcast Finding Your Shine, with my best friend from college.

  • I LOVE reading tarot cards, practicing Reiki, and using my intuitive talents!
