Anti-Inflammatory Pineapple Turmeric Smoothie

This summer has been a HOT one -- and I'm not complaining! I absolutely love the heat, but, it is nice to have a nice cooling beverage to balance all that heat out. My turmeric smoothie recipe is the perfect choice!

Turmeric is such a powerful spice with and has host of health benefits:

  • It helps reduce inflammation

  • Boosts mood and has been shown to ease depression symptoms

  • Supports the stomach lining

  • Helps balance blood sugar

  • Is a natural pain-reliever!

 The only "bad" thing about turmeric is it can stain very easily ... so be careful! If you follow me on instagram, you may have seen the story of me SPILLING this bright yellow spice all over my kitchen floor and carpet. OY.  Be careful, friends ;)
